Beginner’s Booth Donations

One of the missions of the GHSS Foundation, Inc., is to promote the hobby and educate collectors. To meet this goal we operate a Beginner’s Booth at the Greater Houston Stamp Show where we both give away and sell at a low cost stamps and other philatelic items. The booth targets new collectors, but philatelist of all levels are welcome to visit.

Items distributed at the booth come completely through donations. At the last show we saw visits from Scouts, school-age children and young adults, senior citizens and other new and aspiring collectors.

If you have inherited stamps, first day covers, postcards, collecting supplies or other philatelic items or if you just have some excess items that need a new home, please consider donating them to support our mission.

Donations may be dropped off at the following UPS Store Location. We have been receiving donations here for more than 20 years, but please let them know when dropping off that the package is for the “Houston Stamp Club Children’s Program”

We are a 501(c)3 Organization. All donations will be acknowledged with a letter on official stationery.
